Description
FAITHFULNESS – Two hearts sewn together into one!
Two hearts sewn together illustrate faithfulness. The hearts enjoy the closeness and togetherness, and they want to be in this relationship for the rest of their lives!
Faitfulness requires a commitment. Oral or written. If the fidelity is directed to a person in the form of marriage, then a public promise is made in the presence of several witnesses. In Christian tradition, the promise is made as a covenant before God.
Faitfulness is a commitment. If these two hearts are to be separated, it will leave traces and wounds. It cannot be undone without a process of separation.
Faitfulness is wonderful when it lasts, and it is expected to last. But it is painful when it is broken.
It's about trust, which is often built over time. It's an advantage to know a person before I dare to trust them. If relationships are broken, it can take a long time to rebuild trust, enough trust for me to dare to enter into committed relationships again.
THE STORY BEHIND THE LANGUAGE OF THE HEART
In 2006 I was challenged to have an exhibition, and this was the start of Hjertespråket. It eventually became over 100 different illustrations of words for themes that touch the heart and life. The metaphors were wrapped in hearts, and the images were painted on canvas with a palette knife. I experienced that the images created understanding, communicated deeply, touched hearts and functioned across languages and cultures. It was established as a separate company, I wrote texts and books, used the images in courses and teaching, created online courses and a membership portal.
They are inspired and created from a Christian perspective on life, but the metaphors work across all religious denominations. The original images are not for sale, but the images are for sale as prints in various sizes.
