8 MOTIVES FROM RØSVIK
Røsvik used to be the municipal center in Sørfold, and the E6 passed here with a ferry going north. Røsvik is about 30 kilometers north of Fauske and has about 200 inhabitants, a pink church that can accommodate twice as many people, lots of history, a trading post, a coastal fort from World War II, and much more. It is also the gateway to Sjunkhatten National Park. This is where I live, have a studio and a gallery.
I moved here in 2019 and as a new person you see everything with new eyes. The result after a fall in the studio was a series of 8 motifs from Røsvik. They were painted in acrylic with different types of silicone brushes on canvas.
Some of the originals are still for sale, but all 8 motifs are available as digital prints. The images have a handwritten title below the image and signature of the artist. They are printed on high quality paper and are for sale here in two sizes. 15 x 15 cm and 24 x 24 cm.
