Description
I painted a simple version of this motif over 20 years ago at a conference for Women in Networks, and it spoke to many people. A few years later I painted the motif again on canvas in my studio. It is about coming into the source of living water. About being washed and cleansed, renewed and replenished. It is undeserved, free and is described in the Bible as “living water” and “the source of life.”
“Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never thirst. The water that I will give him will become in him a well of water welling up to eternal life.” (John 4:13-14)
Originalmaleriet er 80 x 100cm, men motivet er også tilgjengelig som trykk i ulike størrelser.
