This is from a series of angels that are mostly made from natural materials. I love angels and the angels are inspired by the book "Angel Workshop - 1001 Winged Ideas" that I have both written and made. The book is published by Damm Cappelen forlag (and you can buy it here). All the angels are unique, handmade and some have details from recycled jewelry.
This simple little angel is made from a short scallop shell. The head is made from mother of pearl and a flat pearl from an old piece of jewelry. The wings are made from steel wire and it has two hearts as decoration. One made of metal and one made from 2 old fish hooks, epoxy and glitter. A unique gift that many will be happy to receive! It can be hung directly on the wall and can be used for Christmas, but also throughout the year.
