Description
Original painting
This painting I have painted in several variations, and is from Meløy municipality on the Helgeland coast. It is taken from a small beautiful island called Gammøya which is located between hundreds of other islands in the area called Snyen outside Bolga. You must have your own boat to get here and the atmosphere is taken from an early morning one summer when we spent the night here in a tent.
The painting is painted in acrylic on canvas using a silicone brush and thin layers of paint mixed with gel medium.
It is 60 x 70 cm.
