HANDMADE, UNIQUE CHRISTMAS WREATHS

Eternity symbols made of hanging birch, steel wire and glass beads.

These wreaths are made from thin branches from the hanging birch, decorated with glass beads in beautiful colors strung on steel wire. The wreaths can be brought out year after year, and because they are not typical Christmas decorations, many people choose to have them hanging on the wall all year round.

Why exactly pearls and birch? I have many years of experience as a floral decorator and was lucky enough to work with Kristin Voreland in Bergen. She is both the Norwegian and European champion in floral art. Together we made several creative and exciting projects, and in many of them we used birch branches!

For Galleriet, a shopping mall in Bergen, we made, among other things, large hats and cornucopias out of welded steel. These were covered with mesh and decorated with thin birch branches. Together we also won the Nordic championship in modern floral art – again using shapes made of birch as a starting point.

Birch is a fantastic material that provides a nice contrast to steel wire and beads. So does Sibir cornel, which has red branches. A small investment in something handmade and unique – that you won't find anywhere else! I have them for sale in various sizes, and I also make Christmas trees.
